Terminal Babylon
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
A terminal crime RPG set in the streets of Yokohama, 1985.
You arrive with little more than ambition, loose cash, and a name nobody respects yet.
From there, Yokohama is yours to survive.
Walk the city, take jobs, pick pockets, fight rivals, evade the police, bribe your way out of trouble, build a crew, use the subway, visit shops and hideouts, and slowly turn a nobody into someone the streets recognize.
The city doesn’t wait for you. Police patrol, gangs move, civilians wander, and trouble keeps developing even while you decide what to do next.
Features
- A persistent, procedurally generated Yokohama
- Real-time police, gang, and civilian activity
- Street combat and criminal encounters
- Reputation, money, health, hunger, and progression
- Recruitable crew members
- Multiple vehicles and ways to move around the city
- Shops, bars, restaurants, hospitals, hideouts, stations, and other locations
- Subway travel across the city
- Keyboard-driven interface
Terminal Babylon is deliberately old-school: no mouse-heavy interface, no glowing quest arrows, and no polite waiting while you make decisions.
Sometimes the best plan is to run.
Sometimes it is to fight.
Sometimes ¥1,000 convinces a police officer that nothing particularly interesting happened.
Welcome to Yokohama. Try not to become a statistic.
